The vision for this event is to have a bit of fun, talk a bit of shop and keep up the SHARE comradery. The idea is we will hold this annually at a different location each time.

This year, at the Akarana Golf Club in Auckland. 

Meet time: 12.15pm with a 1.00pm tee off

​

​Not everyone plays golf, but the format allows those who can at least hit a ball to join in. There is also the option to drive a drinks cart and attend the post-match proceedings & dinner. 

​

Dinner location: TBC depending on confirmed numbers, likely to be somewhere around the viaduct

Format: 2 person ambrose

• Two players form a team and play together against other teams.

• Both players hit a tee shot on each hole.

• The team chooses the better of the two shots, and both players then play their next shot from that spot.

• This "best shot" process continues until the ball is in the hole.

• The team’s score for each hole is how many shots it took using this method

​

After handicaps considered, the team with the lowest net score wins their name for the first time on the SHARE golf trophy. Those without handicaps will be given a 25.
